Telework Benefits
Proven Telework Results
Savings from Reduced Employee Absenteeism and Turnover

Employees who telework can save their employers $10,006 each in reduced absenteeism and job retention costs according to research announced in October 2000 by the International Telework Association & Council (ITAC) Use these figures to calulate your savings.

Return on Investment in Broadband Access for Employees
"When combining the 33% average productivity increase realized by teleworkers with broadband access working from home one day per week, with the possible savings in reduced central office space, employers can save over $5,000 per broadband teleworker." (Telework America Survey 2002, ITAC)
Provides Operations Contingency Options
Reports of many teleworkers remaining on the job after 9/11, in cities affected by the SARS outbreak and during the August 2003 power outage. Overhead Costs
Real estate costs may be reduced where office
